“Russian Fairy Tales.” From a series of paintings exploring queer love in Russia, as a series of fairy tales, to show that the knight in shining armor rescuing her princess can be a woman, and that the kiss at the end of the fairy tale can be gay. Paintings to show how natural queer love is, especially in a place like Russia where love is outlawed and made dangerous, when it should be celebrated and always beautiful.
